Open invitation to the Advisory Committee for Social Science meeting on 15 May 2018

The Advisory Committee for Social Science (ACSS) of the Food Standards Agency is holding its first meeting at Clive House, London on Tuesday 15 May 2018.

The ACSS was formally established in April this year to implement a key recommendation from the Triennial Review of the FSA’s Scientific Advisory Committees, with its purpose being to provide expert strategic advice to the FSA on its use of the social sciences.

Agenda

The meeting will include welcome and introductions and an overview of FSA key priorities. This will be followed by an introduction to the future Committee work plan, which will include discussion of:

  • Applying behavioural insights to the work of the FSA
  • Risk communication
  • Food and You review
