Open invitation to the Advisory Committee for Social Science meeting on 4 December 2018

The Advisory Committee for Social Science (ACSS) of the Food Standards Agency is holding its second meeting at 110 Rochester Row, London, on Tuesday 4 December 2018.

The ACSS was formally established in April 2018 to implement a key recommendation from the Triennial Review of the FSA’s Scientific Advisory Committees, with its purpose being to provide expert strategic advice to the FSA on its use of the social sciences.

Agenda

The meeting will include Chair and FSA updates, plus updates from each of the Committee working groups including:

  • Applying behavioural insights to the work of the FSA
  • Risk communication
  • Food and You review

The Committee will also reflect on future priorities.
