ACSS Climate Change and Consumer Behaviour Working Group

Last updated: 06 April 2022

About

The FSA has a strong interest in horizon scanning likely responses to climate change and understanding where it might impact its work. This working group helps to highlight and discover trends in climate change in order to aid the FSA in horizon scanning.

Update

The working group have completed phase 1 work, holding an expert engagement workshop, to identify behaviours that consumers may engage in in response to climate change concerns. Phase 2 work has commenced involving a workshop in February 2022 with FSA policy and operational leads to understand the implications of these identified behaviours. These workshops will inform a final report outlining where behaviours may impact on FSA areas of concern, and potential actions the FSA could take.
